余备，香港中文大学计算机科学与工程教授。在2021年获得了IEEE CEDA 职业发展奖（early career award），是唯一非美国本土的学者获得这个世界级的奖项。获得过 IEEE TSM 2022, ICCAD 2024 & 2021 & 2013, DATE 2022, ASPDAC 2021 & 2012, ISPD2017、SPIE2016 等世界顶级期刊会议的最佳论文奖，是世界上唯二的学者同时获得过ICCAD的前端和后端两个最佳论文奖项（另一位是不莱梅大学的Rolf Drechsler教授）。已发表超过160篇重要国际期刊论文 (包含97篇EDA 领域世界顶级期刊论文 IEEE TCAD) 和 近300余篇本领域重要国际会议论文。在EDA的两大顶级会议，DAC'2024和ICCAD'2025分别发表了17篇和13篇长论文，分别创造了DAC和ICCAD的历史记录。担任了计算机辅助设计领域多个世界顶级期刊和国际重要会议的编委会委员和客座编辑，同时也是IEEE CEDA香港分会的前任主席。因为在领域内的杰出贡献，获得了2022年ACM SIGDA功勋服务奖（Meritorious Service Award），2024年DAC 40岁以下杰出创新奖 (Under-40 Innovator Award)，和香港研資局 (RGC) 2024年度研究學者奖。 Bei Yu, Professor of Computer Science and Engineering at The Chinese University of Hong Kong. In 2021, he received the IEEE CEDA Early Career Award, becoming the only scholar outside the United States to win this world-class honor. He has been awarded Best Paper Awards at prestigious international conferences and journals, including IEEE TSM 2022, ICCAD 2024 & 2021 & 2013, DATE 2022, ASPDAC 2021 & 2012, ISPD 2017, and SPIE 2016. He is one of only two scholars in the world to have received both front-end and back-end Best Paper Awards at ICCAD (the other being Professor Rolf Drechsler from the University of Bremen). He has published over 160 influential international journal papers (including 97 in IEEE TCAD, the top-tier journal in EDA) and nearly 300 papers in leading international conferences. At the two premier EDA conferences, DAC 2024 and ICCAD 2025, he presented 17 and 13 full-length papers, respectively, setting new historical records for both events. He serves on the editorial boards and as a guest editor for several top-tier journals and key international conferences in computer-aided design. Additionally, he is the former Chair of the IEEE CEDA Hong Kong Chapter.
